FamilyFor more than 16 years Mark and his family have called the riding home. Mark is a born and raised Albertan, a husband, a father of 2 daughters, a small business owner, and a long time conservative activist at both the provincal and federal levels.

Mark has the experience, determination and dedication to deliver for the families of Calgary Shaw. Mark is prepared to effectively fight to unwind the destructive NDP policies and re-create an environment for economic growth where families and business' can thrive again.

Alberta should be the model whereby low taxes and efficient regulation result in a provincial economic powerhouse whereby we can afford world class public services without having to burden our children
with crippling debt.


Political Experience

Mark Mantei & Stephanie KusieMark was the founding president of the United Conservative Party Calgary Shaw Constituency Association after successfully fighting for unity following the election of the NDP government in 2015. Previously Mark served as president of Wildrose Calgary-Shaw CA, and as a Wildrose Assistant Provincial Director.  Mark has also served as president of the Wildrose Calgary Acadia CA, as a Director on the Wildrose Calgary Lougheed board, and as a Director on the UCP Calgary Acadia board.  Federally Mark serves on the Calgary Midnapore EDA and chairs the membership committee.

Recently Mark has also served on the UCP provincial membership committee and on the wildly successful Jason Kenney byelection campaign team.


Business Experience

HeadshotMark Mantei and his business partner Brian Dunn co-own Blue Spring Inc.  Blue Spring is a local Accounting & Information Technology company serving a wide variety of Alberta business'.  Previously Mark spent 15 years as the Vice President for Tremb Services, a BC headquartered technology company specializing in dispatch, accounting and GPS tracking solutions for the transportation industry.

Mark's years of executive small business experience have provided him with the knowledge of how to re-energize small business as the engine of the Calgary and Alberta economies.  Low taxes, efficient regulation, a business friendly government, these are the basic building blocks to getting Albertan's back to the jobs that created the wealth and prosperity and allowed Albertan's the freedom to enjoy our beautiful city and province.
